In Celles-sur-Ource, since the 16th century, the Carreau family has been growing grapes, vinifying a small portion for their personal consumption. In 1990, Lionel Carreau decided to market a champagne brand under his own name. His daughter, Oriane, joined him in 2012.
Oriane's journey has been anything but conventional. A brilliant commercial career took her to North America for several years, yet home ultimately called her back.
While continuing to work for Champagnes Carreau, Oriane is also developing her own brand, Dame de Carreau, using vineyards that are either in organic conversion or already certified. Her goal is clear: exceptional grapes or nothing, with a winemaking approach that involves minimal intervention.

A cuvée typical of the style of the vignerons of Celles-sur-Ource and one that reflects the style of Carreau family. Our objective is to achieve perfect balance in each specific vintage. Made only in the very finest years.
The Pinot Noir brings power, the Pinot Blanc brings finesse, and the Chardonnay offers freshness along with buttery and brioche notes.

Provenance and storage of our wines
All wines and other products come directly from the estates or their exclusive distributors. In some cases, rare and hard-to-find bottles have been purchased from private collectors or professionals. Our expertise guarantees the quality and authenticity of the bottles.
These are stored in the cellar, on Fondaudège Street, in their entirety. The most fragile and rare bottles benefit from aging in a Liebherr or La Sommelière wine cellar.
