In 2009, Sophie and Matthieu Woillez decided to create Domaine La Croix Montjoie in Tharoiseau, a small village near Vézelay in the Yonne region. The Domaine is located on the former farm of the village château, where crops were grown, animals were raised, and even wine was produced long ago. It takes its name from "La Croix Montjoie," situated at the village entrance, where pilgrims would first catch sight of Vézelay and express their joy.
When they first arrived, the site was in a state of complete disrepair, requiring annual reconstruction and investment to restore the buildings. Today, the place has become magical: the terrace faces Vézelay and offers views of the foothills of the Morvan. Whatever the season, nature and light reveal themselves in different yet equally captivating ways. It is a place of warmth and sharing that leaves no one indifferent!

Beautiful fruity notes for this Chardonnay, crispy and greedy attack. White fruits, white flowers too and a nice full-rounded mouth.

Questi sono conservati in cantina, in via Fondaudège, in totale. Le bottiglie più fragili e più rare beneficiano di un riposo in cantina di invecchiamento Liebherr o La Sommelière.
