Château La Clyde is a true hidden gem located just outside Bordeaux, in the Entre-Deux-Mers region. On 1.8 hectares, Florence and Jacques Jouny, both retired, embarked on their journey to craft fine Bordeaux wines in 2016 on this small plot of land. From the very beginning, they embraced biodynamic farming and winemaking, working tirelessly without employees—though they admit their grandchildren occasionally lend a hand. The result is wines that are precise, modern, and worthy of the finest tables.
Aging: 5 months in French oak barrels
The nose is charming and springlike, with delicate notes of white flowers and lilac. On the palate, it is livelier and mineral-driven, yet without being aggressive. Fresh notes reminiscent of exotic fruits are complemented by a crisp, well-defined acidity.
The light barrel aging enhances the freshness and extends the finish.
This lingering finish inspires pairings with summer vegetable dishes, white meat grills, or a delightful plancha—without red meat.

Provenance and storage of our wines
All wines and other products come directly from the estates or their exclusive distributors. In some cases, rare and hard-to-find bottles have been purchased from private collectors or professionals. Our expertise guarantees the quality and authenticity of the bottles.
These are stored in the cellar, on Fondaudège Street, in their entirety. The most fragile and rare bottles benefit from aging in a Liebherr or La Sommelière wine cellar.
