The Producer
The Champagne Trudon House is a family-owned and independent operation located in Festigny, in the heart of the Marne Valley. Today led by Jérôme Trudon, winemaker and oenologist, it claims a personal approach to champagne, based on the idea of a true "House style." His work is part of an oenological reading of the Champagne territory, where the relief, climate, and grape varieties are sources of inspiration for creating wines with their own identity.
The vineyard of the House extends over 7.5 hectares, spread across about fifteen plots around Festigny, in the Flagot Valley. The diversity of exposures, oriented towards the four cardinal points, allows for different expressions of the grape varieties. The Meunier, the predominant and emblematic grape of the estate, finds here a particularly favorable terroir, composed mainly of clay-limestone marls. The Pinot Noir is cultivated on a south-facing slope, while the Chardonnay thrives on a plot located in the plain.
Today, Jérôme Trudon cultivates and vinifies his wines as an independent winemaker, adapting his practices to the characteristics of each plot, grape variety, and exposure. The grapes are hand-harvested and the range is primarily made from cuvée juice. The three grape varieties and certain remarkable plots can be vinified separately, before the blending — sometimes completed by reserve wines — contributes to the construction of the House's style. The estate thus offers several cuvées, from blends to single-varietal champagnes and aging cuvées, with the constant desire to express both the diversity of the vineyard and a signature unique to Champagne Trudon.

Tasting
Roséphile displays a satin-like and fairly fluid appearance, with a pale salmon pink color.
The first nose evokes scents of kumquat, orange, and raspberry. It evolves with aeration towards notes of candied strawberry. Its approach on the palate is supple and fresh with a creamy and integrated effervescence.
