The Estate
À une quarantaine de kilomètres de Bordeaux, le Château Haut Saint Clair s’étend sur un vignoble de 5 hectares, niché sur des coteaux argilo-calcaires typiques de l’appellation Puisseguin-Saint-Émilion. Il vinifie aussi un Côtes-de-Bordeaux appelé Château du Vieux Vigneau.
The history of the estate begins in the 1960s when Renée and Raymond acquire it. In 1978, their son Yannick takes over. Trained in viticulture and oenology, he quickly modernizes the operation by setting up barrel cellars and puts an end to cooperative winemaking.
Today, his sons Thomas and Nicolas are taking up the torch by developing sustainable viticulture and planting Mediterranean grape varieties.

Au nez, le fruit est présent (mure, cerise). En bouche le vin est souple, avec ce qu'il faut de vivacité.
