The Estate

After fifteen years in banking IT, Xavier Landeau decided in 1995 to change paths and take over the family estate, an inheritance from four generations of winemakers.
On the terroir of the Ambès peninsula, a wine-growing region of Bordeaux since the 17th century, he cultivates twenty hectares of vines, planted with classic Bordeaux grape varieties such as merlot, cabernet franc, and cabernet sauvignon.
In 1998, he reintroduced Petit Verdot, an ancestral grape variety, emblem and memory of the great renown of our terroir.
Since 2003, the Courrèges vineyard, located in the municipality of Yvrac, has completed the estate. Characterized by a limestone soil, it is planted with merlot, malbec, and semillon.
