Moulin-à-Vent

The Moulin-à-Vent AOC, established in 1936, covers about 700 hectares in the Beaujolais region. It produces powerful and elegant red wines from the gamay grape, known for their structure, floral aromas, and long aging potential. The granitic soils contribute finesse and minerality to the wines. Moulin-à-Vent pairs perfectly with red meats, game, and stewed dishes. Notable producers include Château du Moulin-à-Vent, Domaine Chignard, and Jean-Paul Brun.
