Côtes-de-Bourg

The Côtes de Bourg AOC, established in 1937, covers about 2,000 hectares on the right bank of the Garonne River, near Bordeaux. It mainly produces rich and fruity red wines from merlot, cabernet sauvignon, and cabernet franc grapes. The clay-limestone and gravelly soils enhance the wines’ structure and complexity. Côtes de Bourg is known for its approachable and pleasant wines, which pair well with red meats, stews, and cheeses.
