Is there a Bordeaux estate more iconic than Château Margaux? The building, dating back to the 19th century, was designed by Louis Combe and is featured today on all the labels of the property's bottles. In 1977, the new owners, the Mentzelopoulos family, revived the property after about a decade of vintages unworthy of the 1855 classification as a Premier Grand Cru Classé.
Since then, it's impossible not to be charmed by a succession of bottles, each more breathtaking than the last, thanks to the work of Paul Pontalier and then Philippe Bascaules. The single-block vineyard is highly calcareous, granting the wines an invaluable aging potential.
Made entirely from Sauvignon Blanc, the Pavillon Blanc du Château Margaux gives us aromas of summer fruits (peach, lemon, pear) and white flowers (acacia, honeysuckle). It displays an incredibly generous palate, balanced and elegant. Undoubtedly the finest white wine in the Médoc.

Provenance and storage of our wines
All wines and other products come directly from the estates or their exclusive distributors. In some cases, rare and hard-to-find bottles have been purchased from private collectors or professionals. Our expertise guarantees the quality and authenticity of the bottles.
These are stored in the cellar, on Fondaudège Street, in their entirety. The most fragile and rare bottles benefit from aging in a Liebherr or La Sommelière wine cellar.
