The Estate
During his numerous travels in Northern Europe, Bertrand - co-founder of Granith - noticed as early as 2016 the emergence of non-alcoholic creations prepared on-site in gourmet restaurants, particularly in Denmark, Great Britain, Germany, and Austria. These exciting discoveries inspired them to go further and experiment with a multitude of recipes themselves.
Bertrand fully unleashes his creativity. Mariela, his partner, is used to creating complex blends from multiple elements, different grape varieties, and various origins.
The highly complementary duo works wonderfully and tests over 150 natural and organic ingredients (aromatic plants, fruits, spices, roots, herbs, teas, hydrosols, spring waters, purified waters, micro-filtered...). They build trusting relationships with organic fruit and aromatic plant producers in Ardèche and Drôme.
They create a balanced and agile drink, structured and complex, capable of harmonious gastronomic pairings.
The Wine

The unique flavor of this creation is achieved through the infusion and maceration of numerous organic aromatic plants (Sage, jasmine green tea and rose, licorice, kaffir lime zest, cardamom...), as well as noble spices to bring complexity and achieve the desired harmony.
Then, Granith adds an organic rose geranium hydrosol with more concentrated aromas.
The final step is the addition of organic verjus and a bit of fair trade organic cane sugar.
