The Estate
During his numerous travels in Northern Europe, Bertrand - co-founder of Granith - noticed as early as 2016 the emergence of non-alcoholic creations prepared on-site in gourmet restaurants, particularly in Denmark, Great Britain, Germany, and Austria. These exciting discoveries inspired them to go further and experiment with a multitude of recipes themselves.
Bertrand fully unleashes his creativity. Mariela, his partner, is used to creating complex blends from multiple elements, different grape varieties, and various origins.
The highly complementary duo works wonderfully and tests over 150 natural and organic ingredients (aromatic plants, fruits, spices, roots, herbs, teas, hydrosols, spring waters, purified waters, micro-filtered...). They build trusting relationships with organic fruit and aromatic plant producers in Ardèche and Drôme.
They create a balanced and agile drink, structured and complex, capable of harmonious gastronomic pairings.
The Wine
Tasting
La saveur unique de cette création est obtenue grâce à l’infusion et la macération de nombreuses plantes aromatiques biologiques (Rooibos, romarin, thé noir Ceylan, réglisse …) ainsi que des épices nobles afin d’apporter la complexité et atteindre l’harmonie désirée.
Ensuite Granith ajoute du jus de Grenade bio qui apporte de la couleur, des tannins et une belle acidité.
La dernière étape est un ajout de verjus (le jus de raisins verts), puis un peu de sucre de canne bio commerce équitable.
