The Estate
Domaine des Tours is the family estate of Emmanuel Reynaud, also winemaker at Château Rayas and Château des Tours. Located in Vacqueyras, it has become under his direction a place of freedom and experimentation, where he can fully express his vision of wine. Heir to a legacy passed down through generations, Emmanuel Reynaud continues to shape a singular style marked by authenticity and balance.
The vineyard lies on clay-limestone soils mixed with sand and the famous Rhône pebbles. Grenache is the dominant grape, complemented by Syrah, Cinsault, Counoise, and Carignan, creating wines that are both intense and subtle. The Mediterranean climate, tempered by the mistral wind, allows for perfect ripeness while preserving freshness and aromatic finesse.
Today, Domaine des Tours has become a benchmark for lovers of Rhône wines with finesse and drinkability. The Wine
Viticulture is carried out without chemical inputs, with low yields and careful soil management. Grapes are harvested by hand and carefully sorted. Vinification relies on long fermentations in concrete tanks with native yeasts, followed by aging in old foudres, without seeking extraction.
Tasting
The nose reveals a bouquet of fresh red fruits, lifted by floral tones and sweet spices. On the palate, it combines roundness and freshness, supported by supple tannins and a long aromatic persistence. The delicate, savory finish perfectly illustrates Emmanuel Reynaud’s elegant and airy style.
