The Estate
Located in the heart of Berry, Chantal Wilk and Jean Tatin revived the family farm in 1988 before creating the brand "Les Demoiselles Tatin" in 2002, in homage to their daughters. The couple of agronomist engineers initially focused on the Quincy appellation, then expanded their activities to Reuilly, two emblematic terroirs of the Centre-Loire. Today, their daughter Maroussia Tatin has joined the adventure, embodying the continuity of a family estate in perpetual evolution.
The estate's terroir spans approximately 35 hectares located between Quincy and Reuilly. In Quincy, the sands and gravels of the plateaus give the Sauvignon Blanc an aromatic finesse and a mineral tension typical of the appellation. In Reuilly, the plots of Lignis, Coignons, and Commanderie rest on soils that combine sands, clays, and Kimmeridgian limestone, offering wines of beautiful complexity. This geological heritage, combined with a soil-respecting cultivation, promotes pure and elegant expressions of the grape varieties Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Gris.
Today certified Terra Vitis and in organic conversion, the estate combines traditional know-how with environmental requirements. The wines "Les Demoiselles Tatin" stand out for their precision, freshness, and balance. The Reuilly whites are captivating with their aromas of white fruits and their chiseled finish, while the reds offer a beautiful expression of Pinot Noir, blending red fruits and fine spices. A sincere and committed signature, reflecting a family that showcases the Quincy and Reuilly appellations with authenticity.
