At Domaine Benoît CANTIN, the work of the vineyard and the craft of fine wine are passed down from father to son. Roger CANTIN was born in 1911. His father, Edmond, in 1882, and his grandfather, Auguste, in 1849.
Bernard, now 80 years old, succeeded him one day, and today, they have the satisfaction of seeing Benoît, 45 years old, continue the family tradition. The estate now covers 16 hectares, primarily with Pinot Noir (with a small percentage of César) and a bit of Gamay.
Benoît CANTIN took over from his father in 1994 and hopes to establish his son, Félicien CANTIN, there in a few years.
The Irancy Village is red in colour, deep, fruity and elegant with notes of red fruits or morello cherries as it ages.
Pinot noir 100% with some traces of Caesar.
Vatting for 10 to 15 days in temperature-controlled vats. Ageing in 228L barrels, 1 year in barrels of all ages.
Accompanies: meats, cheeses and after ageing: game.
To be drunk from 2 to 20 years depending on the vintage.

Provenance and storage of our wines
All wines and other products come directly from the estates or their exclusive distributors. In some cases, rare and hard-to-find bottles have been purchased from private collectors or professionals. Our expertise guarantees the quality and authenticity of the bottles.
These are stored in the cellar, on Fondaudège Street, in their entirety. The most fragile and rare bottles benefit from aging in a Liebherr or La Sommelière wine cellar.
