Chateau Jean Faure’s history as a winegrowing estate dates back to the 16th century. It is named after its owner Jehan Faure, who at the time was a resident of Saint-Emilion and a member of the town council of Libourne. Jean Faure’s great terroir is first and foremost a historic terroir, a property anchored to its territory for close to 600 years and only belonging to six families during this period.
50% Cabernet Franc, 45% Merlot, 5% Malbec.
This 2014 vintage is characterized by its freshness, harmony, and elegance. This generous wine possesses a beautiful structure and silky tannins. It's a wine with great aging potential.

Provenance and storage of our wines
All wines and other products come directly from the estates or their exclusive distributors. In some cases, rare and hard-to-find bottles have been purchased from private collectors or professionals. Our expertise guarantees the quality and authenticity of the bottles.
These are stored in the cellar, on Fondaudège Street, in their entirety. The most fragile and rare bottles benefit from aging in a Liebherr or La Sommelière wine cellar.
