The Producer
After fifteen years in banking IT, Xavier Landeau decided in 1995 to change paths and take over the family estate, a legacy of four generations of winemakers.
On the terroir of the Ambès peninsula, a wine-growing area of Bordeaux since the 17th century, he cultivates twenty hectares of vines, planted with classic Bordeaux grape varieties such as Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon.
In 1998, he replanted Petit Verdot, an ancestral grape variety, emblematic of the great reputation of the peninsula's terroir.
Since 2003, the Courrèges vineyard, located in the municipality of Yvrac, has complemented the estate. Characterized by a limestone soil, it is planted with Merlot, Malbec, and Sémillon.
