The Producer
Champagne Trudon is a family-owned house located in Festigny, in the Vallée de la Marne, with a winemaking history dating back to the 1920s. Founded by Lucien Trudon, the estate has been passed down from generation to generation, with each winemaker contributing to the evolution of the estate while preserving its identity. After joining the family business in 2009, Jérôme Trudon took the reins and brought his dual expertise as a winemaker and oenologist. Committed to independence and mastery of every stage of production, he continues this family story with a personal vision of champagne, where knowledge of wine and expression of the terroir hold an essential place.
The vineyard extends over 7.5 hectares divided into about fifteen plots around Festigny, within the Vallée du Flagot. The predominantly clay-limestone soils and the diversity of exposures provide conditions conducive to the expression of the three Champagne grape varieties: the Meunier, which is largely dominant, the Pinot Noir, and the Chardonnay. In the vineyard, practices are adapted to the specificities of each plot, with attention paid to the ripeness of the grapes and the preservation of their quality. In the cellar, Jérôme Trudon produces his champagnes by separating the grape varieties and certain plots to control their characteristics. The blends, the use of reserve wines, and extended aging contribute to building the balance and signature of each cuvée.
Today, Jérôme Trudon asserts a style that combines oenological precision, aromatic richness, and the expression of the Meunier, which is the true guiding thread of the house. The range is presented in several complementary approaches: traditional blends like Emblématis, an interpretation of the Meunier with Monochrome, a rosé champagne with Roséphile, or Instantannée, which highlights a remarkable vintage. Through these different cuvées, the house explores the multiple facets of its vineyard without renouncing the coherence of its identity. As a récoltant-manipulant and certified High Environmental Value, Champagne Trudon continues its development while remaining true to an artisanal philosophy, independent and deeply connected to its terroir.

Tasting
On the first nose, Emblématis evokes scents of quince and marmalade. It evolves with aeration towards tropical notes of mango and ginger.
The palate is supple and fresh with a creamy and melted effervescence. Emblématis develops with a fleshy and juicy texture, enhanced by a fresh acidity.
