The Producer
Founded by Guillaume Dussans, La Renouée was born from a bold ambition: to revive Bordeaux's forgotten grape varieties while shaping a form of viticulture capable of meeting tomorrow's challenges. Nestled on the hillsides of Cadillac, in the heart of a high-altitude terroir cultivated since Roman times, La Renouée is now home to a true conservatory of heritage grape varieties. Bouchalès, Castets, Mérille, Carmenère and Courbu Noir have been brought back to life here, revealing the richness and diversity of Bordeaux's remarkable winegrowing heritage.
At La Renouée, the vineyard is cultivated like a living garden. Certified organic and inspired by biodynamic principles, the estate promotes a natural balance between the vines, the soil and the surrounding biodiversity. Across six hectares, only part of the land is planted with vines, while hedgerows, woodland, fruit trees and wild meadows create a thriving, resilient ecosystem. This holistic approach reflects a commitment to producing wines that are deeply connected to their environment while preparing the vineyard for the challenges of a changing climate.
Each La Renouée wine is crafted in limited quantities to express the unique character of its grape variety and vintage. Grapes are harvested by hand, vinified with meticulous care and aged in seasoned oak barrels to preserve the purity of the fruit. Through these small-batch wines, Guillaume Dussans offers an authentic, elegant and vibrant interpretation of Bordeaux, where heritage, innovation and respect for nature come together in every bottle.

Tasting
This is a Burgundy-style white wine. It is a mature wine with aromas of exotic fruits, pineapple, quince and a subtle hint of vanilla. The palate is smooth and rich, with a saline finish balanced by a touch of acidity. It is the perfect companion for cheeses and white meats.
