The Producer
A true fermentation laboratory located in Villenave d’Ornon, at the gates of Bordeaux, Winterholer produces unfiltered craft beers, bottle-conditioned, as well as a unique French sake, Wintoji®, made from organic rice from Camargue.
The raw materials come exclusively from French and organic sources: barley and wheat malt, Camargue rice, hops, and yeasts. Thanks to their collection and reuse system, the bottles are reused, thus contributing to reducing their ecological footprint.
Tasting
Amber ale fermented in the presence of wild Brettanomyces yeast, and aged for 18 months in barrels. Powerful and balanced, it recalls the Lambic style but is less sour.
