Côtes du Jura
The Côtes du Jura AOC, established in 1937, spans about 600 hectares along a north-south strip of the Jura vineyard. It allows all the region’s grape varieties: savagnin, chardonnay, trousseau, poulsard, and pinot noir. This is the Jura’s most versatile appellation, producing classic whites, oxidative wines (including vin jaune), light reds, crémants, and vin de paille. Marl-rich soils and a continental climate give the wines tension and character. Pairings: aged Comté, almond trout, tagines, charcuterie.
