The Producer
The Bression Lourdeaux estate is located in Try-Dormans, in the heart of the Marne Valley, an area recognized for its clay-sandy soils that promote the expression of the Meunier grape, emblematic of the region. Founded in 2006 by Aude Bression and Boris Lourdeaux, the estate relies on a family heritage of several generations of winemakers. Their philosophy places great importance on respecting the vine and the soils, with sustainable and environmentally friendly viticulture aimed at enhancing the quality of the grapes while preserving the biodiversity of the plots.
The terroir of Bression Lourdeaux, located about 20 km west of Épernay, rests on typical clay soils of the valley that give finesse, roundness, and fruitiness to the wines. The vineyard covers about 6.25 hectares, dominated 90% by Pinot Meunier, complemented by plots of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. This composition allows for the production of balanced champagnes that are very representative of the local identity: fruity, natural freshness, and elegance.
Today, Bression Lourdeaux is appreciated for a range of champagnes that combine Champagne tradition and expression of the terroir: fruity and round white wines made from black grapes to more structured extra-brut vintages, including fine and elegant blanc de blancs cuvées. Each wine reflects the careful approach of the estate: meticulous work in the vineyard, winemaking adapted to each cuvée, and a focus on quality rather than quantity. A 100% range is currently being developed.

A superb blanc de noirs with aromas of white-fleshed fruits, lime, and some pastry notes. The palate is fresh, light, airy, while maintaining a beautiful complexity. A great success!
