Corton
The Corton AOC, established in 1937, is the only red Grand Cru appellation in the Côte de Beaune, covering about 160 hectares across the communes of Aloxe-Corton, Ladoix-Serrigny, and Pernand-Vergelesses. These powerful and structured wines, made from pinot noir, are known for their complexity, structure, and aging potential. The clay-limestone soils and various exposures contribute to a wide range of profiles. These wines pair perfectly with rich dishes such as game, sauced meats, or wild mushrooms. Notable producers: Domaine Bonneau du Martray, Domaine Louis Latour, Domaine Latour.
