Chambolle-Musigny

The Chambolle-Musigny AOC, established in 1936, covers around 180 hectares in the Côte de Nuits. Often considered the most feminine of Burgundy reds, it produces exclusively pinot noir wines, renowned for their finesse, floral aromas (violet, peony), and silky texture. Light limestone soils enhance elegance and subtlety. Pairings: fine poultry, sweetbreads, truffles, mild cheeses. Notable producers: Domaine Comte Georges de Vogüé, Domaine Georges Roumier, Domaine Jacques-Frédéric Mugnier.
