Crémant de Bourgogne
The Crémant de Bourgogne AOC, created in 1975, covers about 2,500 hectares. Produced mainly from chardonnay and pinot noir (but also gamay, aligoté, or pinot blanc), it delivers elegant sparkling wines with fine bubbles, showing citrus, white flowers, and sometimes brioche notes from lees aging. Clay-limestone soils provide freshness and minerality. Pairings: aperitifs, seafood, sushi, roasted poultry.
