Clos Vougeot
Clos Vougeot, an iconic Grand Cru of Burgundy, was classified in 1937. It is the largest Grand Cru of the Côte de Nuits with about 50 hectares, originally enclosed by Cistercian monks in the 12th century. Planted exclusively with pinot noir, it produces powerful and structured wines, with expressions varying by parcel, showing black fruit, spice, and excellent aging potential. Pairings: roasted game, slow-cooked meats, aged cheeses.
