Château Clerc Milon has its origins in the 18th century, in the heart of the Pauillac appellation. Long remaining discreet, it entered a new era in 1970 when Baron Philippe de Rothschild acquired it and integrated it into the prestigious family of Rothschild properties. Classified as a Fifth Growth in 1855, Clerc Milon has since benefited from significant investments and an ambitious quality vision, allowing it to establish itself as one of the most consistent and appealing estates in its classification.

The vineyard of Clerc Milon extends over deep gravel ridges typical of Pauillac, resting on a clay-limestone subsoil. This mosaic of soils offers ideal natural drainage and promotes a slow and complete ripening of the grapes. Cabernet Sauvignon dominates here, complemented by Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, and Carmenère, a rare grape in the Médoc, which brings a unique aromatic signature and beautiful complexity to the blends.
